Ads

I was fooling around with the settings on this blog and I turned on the AdSense thingy. Given my current readership of, umm, one, it's unlikely to lead to dazzling riches and an early retirement. So I tried turning it off. And it refuses to leave.

I don't mind it much. Or rather not at all. But it would be nice to know, for the sake of knowledge, how to turn it off.

I've always wondered...how much do they pay you for each view?

Google doesn't actually disclose the share of ad revenue you get, apparently. I'm guessing it's about 1 cent per ad click, but that's just my cynicism.

hmmm I suppose it's not really worth your time to spend a couple hours a day clicking on the ads then, hey?

Nope :). Believe you me, if it was, I would have had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome by now.

You have more than one reader. I secretly (until now) have read your posts and smiled muchly.

I am only anonymous because I don't have an account not because I am secretive. haha

Two readers!

My word, this blog may make me a fortune yet :).

We still have to actually click on the ad, don't we. I'm not sure about Anonymous here, but I haven't clicked as of yet...

Fair Point. Never mind the money, then. I'll settle for fame :).

By the way, Anonymous, does nine_spiral mean anything to you :P !?!

No, but I used to grow onions.

They should let anonymous people have names.

Yogababy said...

They should. But do feel free to add one to the bottom of your comments.

I can't believe this posting out of all of them has gotten the most comments. How lame!
